Los Amigos DJ Del Boyo is well known in the local music scene and community, mainly because of his singing and bass-playing in several local rock/indie covers bands over the years (Hyperbolics, NMG, Retro Revival, Parabolics, Emergency Banter, etc.) and now more recently with The Amplifiers and Rocket Rebels. He also frequently entertains (or at least tries to!) locally with his solo Del Boyo shows. He was a major contributor to FollyFest until recently, putting together the music programme for many years. His interest in music goes back a long way, mainly in the rock/punk/indie/new wave/funk/disco vein and he has amassed a very large vinyl collection over the last half century or so, enabling him to put together a mixed bag of tunes for almost any Amigos gathering.
